Wedding rings – why I love this image

This is a photograph from Claire and Tom’s beach wedding last year, down at Beach Weddings Bournemouth.

I love this image because it’s so simple. The Groom and the Best Man comparing wedding rings. We all know that the ladies compare rings, don’t we? Well, it seems, so do the guys! 🙂

It is a simple photograph. Wedding photographs don’t need to be complex. It doesn’t need an explanation. It captures that moment forever. Probably a moment that Tom can’t even remember. That’s what documentary wedding photography is all about. Capturing fleeting events in a day that passes in the blink of an eye.

At a wedding I never rest. Always anticipating. Looking out for situations. Laughter. Tears. A simple hug that tells a story.

You need to choose a wedding photographer who produces the style of photographs that you like.

If you’re getting married soon and haven’t already booked your photographer, then please get in touch. As one of Dorset’s leading wedding photographers I’m recommended by a number of the major wedding venues in the area (including, I have to say, Beach Weddings Bournemouth). I’d be delighted to have a chat about what you want out of your wedding day, and how you want it recorded. Your wedding day’s unique, so shouldn’t the service that you receive be unique as well? Don’t settle for second best on your wedding day. Please use the contact form here on my website and I look forward to hearing from you.
