Regrets couples have about their wedding day

Not all wedding days are perfect. As a wedding photographer for over 25 years I know that.

Things sometimes go wrong. Not everything happens as it should. I’ve seen a Bride in tears because her bouquet made by a friend wasn’t the right colour (but it got fixed by the florist who was decorating the venue – thanks Emma!). But, most of the time, they’re minor.

However, occasionally something goes wrong that could have been avoided. Avoided by better planning. Or by spending a little bit more and choosing your suppliers more carefully.

I came across an article in a US wedding magazine which listed 9 regrets that couples have about their wedding day. 9!!

What was top of the list?

Wedding photography.

Make sure you book a decent photographer. This is the most common wedding day regret out there, and it’s so easily avoided! Photography is one thing you shouldn’t scrimp on – make sure you’ve seen their portfolio and you know you can trust them, and make sure you’ve booked them for long enough. We recommend booking a photographer for the getting ready pictures, right through to the first dance!

Choosing your wedding photographer’s probably the most important decision you’ll make.

Here’s the full article about the 9 regrets, so take a peek and please, make sure that you learn from it.
