Just one year ago today I had the pleasure of photographing Rebekah and Stephen’s wedding at Poole Guildhall. Situated on the edge of the old Poole town, it’s steeped in history dating back to March 1761. For their reception venue Rebekah and Stephen chose the lovely Hotel du Vin, where I’m delighted to be a recommended photographer.
As with all Brides, Rebekah was really hoping that her wedding day would be dry. Well, she was lucky! It was cool and overcast but the rainclouds stayed away. This meant they could walk back to the Hotel du Vin along the cobbled streets of Poole Old Town with their family and friends – so much nicer than everyone having to drive!
After a very emotional ceremony the wedding party made their way to the reception, the Bridal party walking in a row with the Groom and one of the Ushers deciding to play leapfrog over the bollards! Fortunately there were no mishaps!!
Such a fun and relaxed day, and a lovely couple – hope these images bring back happy memories for you. xx
