Elegance in Venice – a stunning portrait
As you may know, last year I was lucky enough to get to spend some time in Venice with one of the top 5 wedding photographers in the world. The extremely talented (and likeable) Yervant, from Australia.
Over the course of the week we photographed some newly-weds, and then some absolutely gorgeous Italian models.
I’ve previously shared a few images from my trip and over the course of the next few weeks I’ll post some more.
Here’s one from a stunning palazzo that we were privileged to be able to use.

From a technical perspective it’s a very simple shot. Just window light. But that’s all it needs. It’s not necessary to set up complicated lighting. Much simpler to use the available light – provided you know how to do it properly.
Professional wedding photographers know how to work with whatever light situation they’re confronted with. That’s one of the reasons why you should seriously consider hiring a professional for your wedding day.
