Yesterday I had the privilege of spending the day with Natalie and Alastair, their families and friends at their Deans Court Wimborne wedding.
The forecast over the previous couple of days had been really changeable. Even from hour to hour the BBC website kept offering us different predictions. As it happened, the day stayed dry but overcast, perfect for their outdoor ceremony on the lawns, next to the lake. The Swans and their Cygnet gliding across the water and Duck’s quacking! Oh, and the occasional soundtrack from the Party in the Paddock close by, part of the Wimborne Folk Festival.
With only a handful of formal photos, Nats and Al wanted images that captured the emotions of their day. They were really keen on having my low-key, documentary wedding photography that impacted as little as possible on their day.
It was a fabulous day and I have to admit that I was shattered when I eventually got home last night! There’s a whole heap of editing to be done over the coming weeks as I go through the images but here’s just a few as a sneak peek from their beautiful day.
You’re a wonderful couple and it truly was a privilege to be able to share your special day with family and friends. Have a wonderful time in St. Lucia ……..: ) x
PS – are you sure you wouldn’t like a photographer to tag along to St. Lucia and take the photos for you?? I could bring the laptop and edit the wedding photos!
Please feel free to share this post on your Social media. I’ve also got a Facebook business page where you can catch up on the latest news.
