Bournemouth wedding photographer – image of the week 9

Back to a candid image for this week’s choice, from the lovely wedding of Felicia and Ray with Beach Weddings Bournemouth.

Felicia and Ray’s wedding on the sands featured a lot of children – if I recall correctly there were around 30, so there had to be a child in this image of the week! With so many little ones around you’re guaranteed to get some great shots – just think about it, put children, the beach and a warm sunny day together and you’re onto a winner! However, a lot of children at a wedding can be disruptive, so Felicia and Ray organised some nannies to look after the youngsters, and even had a Punch and Judy show lined up for them as well ….. very impressive.

Their son was the ring-bearer for the ceremony and I just love his expression and posture as one of Ray’s Ushers sorts out the rings on the cushion. It would almost be worth a caption competition I reckon 🙂

Observation and anticipation are the key words when it comes to wedding photography – always on the lookout for opportunities or developing situations.

Technical stuff ….

Camera – Nikon D700; Lens – 70-200mm f2.8; ISO – 1000; Shutter speed – 1/250 sec; Aperture – f5.6
