Black and White Challenge Day 5

Another favourite BW wedding image as I finish the Black and White Challenge Day 5

The final day (for me) of this friendly little challenge going around Facebook between professional photographers. It’s been to share a different BW image for each of 5 consecutive days. It’s been great fun but so difficult, picking some of my favourite Black and White images. Many thanks to my friend John Fox who nominated me, so, without further ado, here’s my submission for the Black and White Challenge Day 5.

Black and White Challenge Day 5

This is another image from Teoni and Brad’s beautiful wedding in the Hampshire countryside. If you’ve been following this series of images you’ll have seen in number 2 a shot of Teoni’s Bridesmaids sheltering underneath a marquee as they waited for her. This particular image is from an hour or so earlier, at the family home. It was absolutely hammering down with rain outside. The Flower-Girl’s looking out with Teoni standing by her side, looking down on her with love and tenderness. A soft, gentle, totally natural moment – this is what wedding photography’s about!

If you’d like to see some more of my work, pop over and take a look at my 2014 wedding photography highlights video.

Well, there are no more images coming along in this particular challenge, but plenty of Blog posts in the pipeline! I’ve got a stack of Blogging to do about last year’s weddings, so watch out for the latest updates.
