The Bank Holiday weekend wasn’t exactly relaxing! Claire and Jon’s Parley Manor wedding on the Saturday and then down to the beach on the Sunday. No, not to soak up the sun or go for a swim! It was the Beach Weddings Bournemouth Spring Open Day 2016. A chance for Brides-to-be (and the Grooms) to take a look around this unique wedding venue – the only place in the UK where you can have your legal wedding ceremony on the beach (and feel the sand between your toes if that’s what you fancy).
With the mixed weather recently we were all crossing our fingers that the sun would shine. Well, it did, in abundance. The venue looked lovely in the Spring sunshine and the marquee was buzzing with people looking around and chatting to some of the recommended suppliers. Have to admit that my waistline may have increased slightly as the chef, Derek, from Simply Gourmet Catering plied everyone with delicious tasters from the menus – well, I do need to put on a few pounds (that’s my excuse)! 🙂
It was a great day with great friends from the wedding industry – really looking forward to this year’s beach weddings!
Did I relax on the Bank Holiday Monday? Err, nope. I was drafting Blog posts about the weekend and backing up images – oh the glamour of being a wedding photographer!
Anyway, here are a couple of sneak peeks from the day. If you want to see more then check into my Facebook page.
