Adobe announce the launch of Photoshop Elements 11
If you’re in the market for some software to edit your photographs there are quite a few options available to you, but one of the best known in the amateur/prosumer photographer arena is Photoshop Elements. Adobe have just announced version 11 (although I seem to recall that version 10 was released less than 6 months ago!).

Elements is effectively a stripped down and simplified version of Adobe’s market-leading professional editing software – Photoshop, and retails for something like 20% of the Pro version. Elements has lots of functionality for the keen photographer, and shies away from the complex (and to be frank, sometimes overly complex) features of Photoshop – which many photographers would never use, as Photoshop was designed from the “off” as a graphic design package, which has since evolved into a suite of programs.
