Looking back through some photos before COVID took hold in Europe, and I found a few from a cafe in Bruges. The chefs were making macarons by a window open to the street. Obviously it was a really good marketing ploy, as they were really busy serving them both in the cafe and for takeaway! If there's one thing that COVID and lockdown ( versions 1 and 2) has given me, and that's time. Time to think about what I do and how I want to spend my life.
