Swanage engagement photography – Sarah and Andy
Unusually for a Bank Holiday, we’ve been blessed with lovely weather this weekend! No more so than yesterday when I hopped across to the Isle of Purbeck for Sarah and Andy’s engagement shoot in Swanage. They’re getting married next month at Beach Weddings Bournemouth and this engagement shoot was a great opportunity to get to know them better and for them to feel more at ease in front of the camera. Instead of lumping around loads of kit (as I do at weddings) I decided I’d “go light” for this shoot. Consequently I took along just one of my Nikons with a portrait lens, plus my trusty little Fuji X100 – both easily tucked away in my Billingham bag. Whilst we were chatting over a coffee after the shoot, Sarah asked if this was the kit I’d be using on the day – she seemed a little surprised when I said I take along a while suitcase full of equipment on the wedding day! 🙂
Anyway, here are just a few “sneak peeks” from the Swanage engagement shoot of Sarah and Andy – hope you enjoy them!
Engagement photo-shoots are about relaxing and having some fun!
We HAD to get the ring on the photograph of course ….
Oh yes – I only take my clients to the very best locations for their photo-shoots! 🙂 This is a great mural on a disused building ….
