The second Bournemouth Air Festival - a free, 4 day air show on the UK's south coast. Over a million people visited the festival, and it's firmly established itself on the UK calendar.
This year, I decided to avoid the crowds on the beach, and instead shot the action at Hurn Airport, where the majority of the planes prepared for the displays.
Highlights of this year's events (for me) were:
The best display team in the world - the Red Arrows;
Battle of Britain Memorial flight, with Lancaster, Spitfire & Hurricane;
Sally B - the B17 Flying Fortress;
Mustang;
Eurofighter Typhoon;
and last, but not least, the fabulous Avro Vulcan!
